AKŞEHİR ATTENDED 26TH EMITT INTERNATIONAL TOURISM AND TRAVEL FAIR

The Eastern Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Fair (EMITT), which is among the five largest tourism fairs in the world, postponed to April 12 due to the earthquake disaster, has started. Akşehir Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Akşehir Municipality opened a booth for the fair held at TÜYAP Fair and Congress Center.

Organized with the corporate sponsorship of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Istanbul Governorship, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and Turkish Airlines and with the support of KOSGEB; It contributes both to the promotion of the country's values and to the development of tourism.
 
The opening of the fair, which was held between 12-15 April 2023, was attended by Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Fikri Ataoğlu, Governor of Istanbul Ali Yerlikaya, Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Ekrem İmamoğlu, Mayors and representatives of the tourism sector joined.
 
The stand, where Akşehir's values were promoted, attracted great attention from both domestic and foreign visitors. The participants of the fair almost competed with each other to have their photo taken with Nasreddin Hodja the representative.
 
Visitors will be able to visit the stand, which will take place at the fair on 12-15 April 2023, with its representative Nasreddin Hodja, its historical, cultural values and tastes, between 10:30 and 18:30.
